Pumas winger Horacio Agulla insists his side must forget the eventual carrot of the quarter-finals if they are to prevail against the dogged Georgians on Sunday.

Argentina head into the final round of matches level on points with Scotland, who are in action against England in Auckland tomorrow. If Scotland keep their own quarter-finals dreams alive with a victory by eight points at Eden Park, the Pumas would require a four-try victory.

"We are close to qualifying but we have to play this game 110% to win," said Agulla. "I think it will be a very tough game, very physical.

"Georgia is such a strong team that I think will not feel the fatigue of having played in the week. From what I saw, they get stronger and play better and I don't think Sunday will be an exception."

The injury-hit Pumas set up their qualification chance with a 13-12 victory over Scotland last weekend but were left to count the cost. Inspirational No.8 Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe is out for the tournament with a torn knee ligament while Rodrigo Roncero is sidelined this weekend with a thigh strain.

Juan Manuel Leguizamon has been passed fit for the clash in Palmerston North after overcoming an ankle injury. Leonardo Senatore replaces Lobbe while Leicester prop Marcos Ayerza starts in place of Roncero.

Argentina coach Santiago Phelan has made one further change in the pack, with lock Mariano Galarza coming in for Manuel Carizza, and two in the backs. Former Leicester flyer Lucas Amorosino, who scored the winning try against Scotland, is rewarded with a start at full-back while Juan Jose Imhoff comes on to the left wing.

Georgia have made six changes following their 25-9 victory over Romania on Wednesday, naming their most experienced World Cup line-up ever with a total of 563 caps. "We are one step from qualification," added Pumas prop Juan Figallo. "We do not think of the quarter-finals. We must take it step by step. Now we have Georgia, and in our heads that we must win. Then we will see what follows."
