Ireland face Argentina at Lansdowne Road on Saturday and will be looking to make it three from three against the newly inducted Rugby Championship side.

The last time the two teams came to blows was back in 2010 when Declan Kidney's men felled the Pumas 29-9. Ireland crossed for two tries on the day with Stephen Ferris and Gordon D'Arcy both scoring with Jonathan Sexton keeping the scoreboard ticking over.

And prior to that 2010 meeting, the two teams last came face-to-face in an ill-tempered clash back in 2008. Ireland edged that one and secured a small measure of revenge for a damaging 30-15 defeat at the Parc des Princes during the 2007 World Cup.

Ireland have never lost on home soil to the Pumas but will be mindful of Argentina's triumph over Wales on November 10.
