CELTIC MANOR, Newport -- France captain Thierry Dusautoir is relishing one final Test against New Zealand counterpart Richie McCaw, describing the All Blacks skipper as the "best player of his generation."

The pair have enjoyed many incredible battles over the years, but Saturday's World Cup quarterfinal in Cardiff will likely be their last.

"McCaw is a good player -- everybody knows it," said Dusautoir, who also denied reports of a revolt against head coach Philippe Saint-Andre during Friday's press conference at their Celtic Manor base.

"He's the best player of his generation and what he did for All Blacks is incredible. It is always special to play against him. It is the last opportunity and I am going to enjoy it.

"It's also really special to play against New Zealand. We have a special history together and we are going to write a new chapter."

It is no secret Dusautoir has been talismanic for Les Bleus against the All Blacks, something which earned praise from Steve Hansen on Thursday.

Eight years' ago, also at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium, Dusautoir made a record 38 tackles and scored a try which saw France secure a famous 20-18 victory in the 2007 World Cup quarterfinal.

Four years later, he scored again as France fell 8-7 to the All Blacks in the World Cup final. Should Dusautoir score a third try this weekend, it will be the most scored by anyone against New Zealand at a World Cup and will equal France's Test record number of tries against them -- currently held by Saint-Andre and Serge Blanco.

He is also the only member of the current France squad to have enjoyed beating New Zealand twice, having been part of the team that secured a first ever Test victory on the All Blacks' home turf in 2009.

However, the 33-year-old is more concerned about Saturday's result over past accolades.

"It [2007] was special because we won against the All Blacks and not many teams have done that. I think French people really liked this moment," Dusautoir added. "We had a great moment eight years ago, another one four years ago in reaching the final.

"Maybe I'm going to a have third special memory to think about. But if we lose the game against New Zealand we are out of the tournament and what we are going to do tomorrow is the most important.

"Building a future is more important than what has happened in the past. We are thinking of moving onto the next stage, but you know when you are playing New Zealand you are against one of the best teams in the world.

"It is always a big challenge to play New Zealand but we have prepared ourselves for it."
