A scintillating team score that included breaks, offloads and some deft footwork from prop Tonga'uiha. The celebrations from the Tongan replacements weren't bad either.

Although largely a disappointing tournament for the Eagles, this score -- described by Dan Leo as "one of the breakaway tries of the tournament" -- was a rare, shining highlight.

2. Karne Hesketh for Japan vs. South Africa, Sep 19, Brighton

The try that had Canucks fans daring to dream as Van der Merwe slalomed through the Italy defence before showing great awareness to support Ciaran Hearn once he had given the centre a pass. "Pure Tier One quality" as Tom May put it, and a deserved winner.
