Gatland and O'Sullivan Extend Coaching Contracts

The IRFU has announced that it has reached agreement with Warren Gatland and Eddie O'Sullivan, to continue in their present coaching roles until the completion of the Six Nations championship in 2002.
Billy Lavery, President, IRFU, said: "The Union is happy that Warrant Gatland and Eddie O'Sullivan will be continuing as coach and assistant coach for a further two year period. We would like to emphasise our continued support of the Irish Management and team and to wish them every success at this exciting period in Irish rugby."
Warren Gatland said: "I am very happy to be continuing my role as National team coach and with Eddie O'Sullivan I look forward to building further on our work with all the young and exciting talent that has emerged in Irish rugby this season."
As yet no replacement has been announced for Donal Lenihan who left his job as team manager after the defeat by Wales to take on a similar role with the Lions.
