Newport-Gwent Dragons' Anglo-Welsh Cup tie with Saracens fell victim to the cold snap on Friday night, with officials postponing the game due to a frozen pitch at Rodney Parade.

Saracens are currently five points behind leaders Bath in Pool 1, with the Dragons down in third in Pool 4.

The Welsh region lost out to the Ospreys 26-21 last time out, while Sarries romped to a 41-14 win over Aviva Premiership rivals Worcester thanks to an eye-catching debut from rugby league convert Joel Tomkins.

A date for the rescheduled game has yet to be announced.
