Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall has agreed a new deal with the Premiership side that will keep him at the club until at least the end of the 2014-15 season.

McCall joined the north London club as first team coach back in 2009 and assumed charge of the side two years later when Brendan Venter moved into the role of technical director. He helped steer Sarries to back-to-back Premiership finals in his first two seasons at the club with the latter resulting in an historic first title.

They challenged for the title again last season and are on course for the play-offs this term as well as the Heineken Cup quarter-finals with the forward-thinking side also set to move into a new ground - Allianz Park - next month. McCall's achievements have not gone unnoticed and chairman Nigel Wray has expressed his delight at securing his services for another two seasons.

"Mark has provided outstanding service for the past three and a half years, and we are delighted he has agreed to continue his excellent work," Wray said in a statement. "He leads a strong and talented coaching team with great skill and fantastic commitment, and we are very confident he will continue to guide and inspire the development of the squad."

Capped 13 times by Ireland, the former inside centre went on to coach Ireland U21s and Ireland 'A' and was assistant coach at Ulster for two years before being given the head coach's job in 2004. He won the Celtic League with the province in 2006 before moving to France a year later to join the coaching staff at Castres but he would soon be lured to Saracens.

McCall is not the only member of the Saracens management team to put pen to paper on a new deal. Forwards coach Paul Gustard, kicking coach Dan Vickers and backs coach Kevin Sorrell have all committed their future to Sarries until at least the end of the 2014-15 season.

"Paul has proved himself to be one of the most talented young coaches in England, and we are delighted he has agreed to continue his excellent work at Saracens," said Wray, who added, "Kevin has proved himself to be an extremely promising young coach, and we are very confident in his ability to continue developing our backline."
