Tigers snap up Argentinian fly-half

Argentinian fly-half Juan Martin Hernandez expects to complete a move to Leicester next week.

The 20-year-old travelled to England on Wednesday and hopes to sign a contract with the Zurich Premiership champions soon.

``There are only a few details to solve, but everything is set,'' said Hernandez.

``I already went to the gym with the trainer, and worked out with the reserve team.''

Leicester have problems at fly-half with Dean Richards converting centre Rod Kafer after injuries ruled out Austin Healey and Sam Vesty for yesterday's Heineken Cup win at Calvisano.

Hernandez, who had to turn down an offer to train with Wasps last year because of a knee injury, currently plays for Deportiva Francesa in Argentina's second division.

He made his debut for Argentina during the Pumas' November European tour, playing against Italy A and an Ireland development team.
