Despite going down 24-8 in the opening game of the World Cup Argentina captain Agustin Pichot said the Pumas could still make the quater-finals.
A Reuters reporter asked if they could still progress,"Of course we can, but it will be hard," the scrumhalf said. "We are disappointed we lost tonight but it is not the end for us."
Marcelo Loffredo said he was pleased with the way his team fought back but concede they made to many mistakes.
"It was always going to be a difficult game for us, but I'm still not happy with the game. We made too many mistakes and that helped them." |
