Argentina coach Santiago Phelan has named his side to face Scotland in their Test clash in Rosario on Saturday.

The side will be led by Felipe Contepomi who takes over from Agustin Pichot who retired after the last year's World Cup.

Jose Maria Nunez Piossek returns to the national team after he missed last year's World Cup due to injury.

''They (Scotland) are very strong. We know how they want to play us. We've played them quite a lot of times and the good thing is that we have some new tapes on Scotland to watch. We know them one by one, but they don't know all of us,'' the 31-year-old Nunez Piossek told www.ole.com.ar.

''They don't know what they are going to come out with. They just know we are a tough team to pass who will hammer them.''

Overmach Parma hooker Alvaro Tejeda will make his senior debut, while Santiago Fernandez and Alfredo Lalanne, still to win international caps, will be on the bench.

Argentina's starting XV to play Scotland on June 7 at Rosario's Estadio Gigante de Arroyito: B Stortoni (Glasgow Warriors); JM Nunez Piossek (Huirapuca), G Tiesi (Harlequins), F Contepomi (Leinster, captain), T De Vedia (London Irish); F Todeschini (Montpellier Herault RC); N Vergallo (Jockey Club Rosario), JM Leguizamon (London Irish); M Ayerza (Leicester Tigers), A Tejeda (Overmach Parma), S Gonzalez Bonorino (Capitolina), I Fernandez Lobbe (Northampton Saints), E Lozada (Toulon), M Durand (Champagnat), J Fernandez Lobbe (Sale Sharks).
