France have drafted in Stade Francais scrum-half Julien Dupuy for their match against Scotland next week.

With a date still not confirmed for their clash with Ireland, Philippe Saint-Andre has stuck the bulk of the squad due to face Declan Kidney's men in the Stade de France last Saturday. Julien Dupuy was drafted in as a late replacement for Biarritz's Dimitry Yachvili and he retains his spot in the 23-man squad.

"We preferred to keep Julien Dupuy as Dimitri Yachvili still has his back problems," said Saint-Andre. "This is more consistent. Everyone did the preparation together. It was difficult to remove someone from the group."

The squad will reassemble at their training base in Marcoussis on Sunday afternoon. Saint-Andre will name his starting XV for the Scotland match on Tuesday.

And one man in the party, Toulouse hooker William Servat, is said to be on the verge of agreeing a new contract with the Top 14 champions. Servat was reportedly courting Toulon's interest but Toulouse boss Guy Noves expects the hooker to stay with him potentially stepping into Yannick Bru's boots as forwards coach in the future.

"It's sure that William will be at Toulouse next season," Noves said. "We've made him an offer, I don't know if he'll accept it, but he will be at Toulouse next year, that's for sure. He'll honour his commitments to the club until the end."

France squad:

Forwards: David Attoub, Vincent Debaty, Nicolas Mas, Jean-Baptiste Poux, William Servat, Dimitri Szarzewski, Pascal Pape, Yoann Maestri, Lionel Nallet, Julien Bonnaire, Thierry Dusautoir (captain), Louis Picamoles, Imanol Harinordoquy

Backs: Morgan Parra, Julien Dupuy, Francois Trinh-Duc, Lionel Beauxis, Aurelien Rougerie, Maxime Mermoz, Wesley Fofana, Vincent Clerc, Julien Malzieu, Maxime Medard
