Bolt withdraws from Diamond League finale

Usain Bolt has pulled out of the Diamond League meeting in Zurich on September 8, which takes place four days after the World Championships in South Korea conclude.
Organisers of the event in Switzerland said that Bolt had opted to skip the event due to his likely exertions in Daegu. Bolt is scheduled to defend both his 100m and 200m world titles at the World Championships, while he will also be involved in the latter stages of Jamaica's bid for a second successive 4x100m relay gold.
"Due to a particularly strenuous schedule at the championships, Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt will not be able to compete in Zurich this year," organisers confirmed in a statement.
The meeting in Zurich serves as the first part of the Diamond League finals, with Bolt's compatriot Asafa Powell and American Walter Dix set to headline the 100m lineup. Brussels hosts the second part eight days later - and Bolt is currently expected to make the trip to Belgium for the 200m.
