Redemption for Bolt with season's best in Zagreb

World record holder Usain Bolt put his World Championships disqualification firmly behind him with victory at an IAAF World Challenge event in Croatia.
Bolt, running in the 100m for the first time since his disqualification for a false start in Daegu, was pushed all the way to the line by world bronze medallist Kim Collins, but the Jamaican thundered over the line in a season's best time of 9.85 seconds.
There was also redemption for hurdler Dayron Robles, disqualified for impeding rival Liu Xiang in the 110m final in South Korea. Robles finished first in a time of 13.00 seconds ahead of world champion Jason Richardson, with Britain's Andy Turner fifth.
Olympic champion Christine Ohuruogu's modest season continued as she finished fourth in the 400m in a race won by Novlene Williams-Mills. Women's sprint queen Carmelita Jeter won the women's 100m in a time of 11.00, with Britain's Jeanette Kwakye sixth, while Australian world champion Sally Pearson reinforced her authority in the 100m hurdles with victory in a time of 12.68. Jemma Simpson finished third in the 800m, while Shara Proctor finished second in the long jump with a leap of 6.63
