Yohan Blake put down another marker in his sprint battle with Usain Bolt by beating him in the 200 metres at the Jamaican Olympic trials.

Blake's victory came two days after he conquered Bolt in the 100m by running the fastest time so far this year, a triumph that heightened expectations for their London 2012 showdown.

And Blake repeated the trick with victory over the longer distance, clocking 19.80 seconds, with Bolt crossing the line 0.03s behind.

Bolt finished the race lying on the track and wincing with pain, having suffered cramp in his right thigh - but he did manage a few words for the the winner.

Blake said: "He said, 'Congratulations, good run, you won. You're the better man on the day,' and I just gave him thanks because he has always motivated [me]."

Bolt said: "I'll have to figure out what I did wrong and work on it. I can never be discouraged, and I'm never worried until my coach gets worried - and my coach isn't worried, so I'm okay."

Coach Glen Mills confirmed early last week that Bolt was not fully fit for the trials.

Elsewhere, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce completed her own sprint double, taking the 200m in 22.10s, having also snatched glory in the 100m.
