Ennis-Hill to compete in London
Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis-Hill has confirmed she will compete at the Anniversary Games on Saturday.
The 27-year-old has not featured on the track since winning gold at London 2012, but is scheduled to take part in the 100 metres hurdles and long jump on her return to the Olympic Stadium.
Ennis-Hill made a successful comeback from her recent injury troubles at a Loughborough event on Tuesday night, throwing a lifetime best in the javelin and also enjoying victory in the long jump.
However, she admitted afterwards the injuries continue to hamper her and expressed doubt over whether she would participate at the World Championships in August.
Despite the concern over her fitness, Ennis-Hill took to Twitter on Thursday to announce her intention to compete in the Anniversary Games.

Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford and world 400m hurdle champion Dai Greene have already withdrawn from the Games, which start on Friday.
