Mo Farah insists he is still keen to take on Usain Bolt in a race for charity, although a date has yet to be put on the potential match-up.

The double world and Olympic gold medallist pleaded with the Jamaican to take him on in a race, to which sprint-king Bolt admitted it would be something he would consider.

However, with the athletics world licking their lips at the prospect of Farah and Bolt going head-to-head, Farah says a time and date has yet to be finalised.

"I don't know, we're still working on that," Farah told Sky Sports News on the race against Bolt.

"Hopefully it will happen at some point. It would be good for charity but I don't know if it will happen in one year, two years or whenever.

"It's just something I said out of the blue - 'it would be great to do it for charity!' And now it's gone worldwide. It's something that's very close to my heart, the charities, and obviously he's got his own charity, I've got my own and it would be great to do something for the kids, for the people."

The 30-year-old meanwhile has yet to decide on whether he will compete at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next year.

Farah is concentrating on the London marathon - to which he said to be run under two hours is ridiculous - and his participation in Glasgow and the European Games in Zurich in 2014 will be decided on how he fares in the marathon.

"I've had a break and just started back running now. My main aim is to do the London marathon and see what I can do. I don't even know if I'm going to do it, the Commonwealths or the Europeans. It all depends how I come off the marathon, it's totally different from the track," he said.
