Australia coach Robbie Deans has named an unchanged starting line-up for Saturday's clash against Wales in Cardiff.

The Kiwi has kept faith in the side that saw off the All Blacks in Hong Kong last weekend, with winger James O'Connor set to take on the kicking duties following his match-winning try and conversion.

Matt Giteau has passed on the kicking tee but starts at inside-centre, Reds pairing Quade Cooper and Will Genia again named at halfback.

Flanker David Pocock gets another shot at Wales after terrorising them in last year's 33-12 victory and he is joined in the back-row by Rocky Elsom and Ben McCalman, who is the only member of the side without experience of the Millennium Stadium's unique atmosphere.

"Ultimately what we are aiming for is back-to-back victories and to achieve that would be great," Deans said. "Obviously it was a fillip getting the result last week. Critically, we need the team to recognise what it took to put ourselves in that position and not to take that for granted.

"We need to ensure that our preparation during the week is on the money, otherwise it will start the decline in standards which will result in the decline of the performance on the weekend. To that end we've made a great start. We think we are on task and what we're looking for out of the game itself will be the added elements that we haven't previously been doing consistently, particularly some of our decisions around when to play and when to look for field position in the last 20 minutes of the game.

"Last weekend we showed a significant improvement in our decision-making which is something that we'd focused on, but we need to ensure that it doesn't taper."
