Brumbies hooker Stephen Moore has bolstered Australia's front-row for their meeting with England at Twickenham on Saturday.

The 27-year-old will add crucial power to a Wallaby scrum that was dismantled by Wales in Cardiff last weekend. Moore was a late withdrawal prior to their 25-16 win at the Millennium Stadium, leaving Saia Faingaa to take over.

The Reds youngster has missed out this time around, Huia Edmonds benefiting with a place on the bench after starting the Wallabies' midweek win over Leicester at Welford Road.

"Steve's a 50 Test-plus player, so he brings with him a wealth of experience," coach Robbie Deans said. "He's played at Twickenham on a number of occasions - including last year, as has our starting front-row.

"We have 10 players returning from the corresponding fixture last year and that experience is invaluable. Twickenham's a great venue to play; it's the bastion of English rugby and they love to get behind their team and use the facility to their advantage, so the more guys that have played there the better."

Quade Cooper and Matt Giteau are retained at fly-half and centre respectively as midweek skipper Berrick Barnes makes do with a replacement spot, while Kurtley Beale and James O'Connor will be hoping to continue their red-hot form in the back-three.

Australia: K Beale (Waratahs); J O'Connor (Western Force), A Ashley-Cooper (Brumbies), M Giteau (Brumbies), D Mitchell (Waratahs); Q Cooper (Reds), W Genia (Reds); B Robinson (Waratahs), S Moore (Brumbies), B Alexander (Brumbies), M Chisholm (Brumbies), N Sharpe (Western Force), R Elsom (Brumbies, capt), D Pocock (Western Force), B McCalman (Western Force)

Replacements: H Edmonds (Brumbies), J Slipper (Reds), D Mumm (Waratahs), R Brown (Western Force), L Burgess (Waratahs), B Barnes (Waratahs), L Turner (Waratahs)
