Wallabies coach Robbie Deans has added five players to the mix ahead of their match with South Africa on September 8.

Deans has added Paddy Ryan, Nick Cummins, Dominic Shipperley, Ben Tapuai and Pat McCabe to the mix. Jake Schatz has been left out due to a shoulder problem while Cummins and Shipperley get the nod due to the injured Drew Mitchell.

McCabe sat out the Wallabies' first two matches of the campaign due to a stress fracture in his foot and is likely to return in time for their match with Argentina on September 15. Six players - Caderyn Neville, Radike Samo, Mike Harris, Rob Simmons, Saia Fainga'a and Ben Tapuai will all play club rugby on Saturday for their local sides.
