- Morne Steyn has signed a new deal with the Bulls that will keep him at Loftus Versfeld until 2013. The Springbok fly-half has just finished a record-breaking Super 14 season, taking Dan Carter's season points mark, as the Bulls claimed their third title in the last four seasons.
- Wallabies prop Matt Dunning has extended his stay with the Western Force to include next season's Super 15. Dunning received the all-clear from his family, who remained in Sydney following his move from the Waratahs, to take up the option of a second year with the Force.
"There are plenty of people in other jobs that do it a lot tougher than we will so in the end we were happy to do the same thing next year," he said. "I was really happy with the Force last season. The first half of the year was tough with so many injuries to contend with but the second half of the season you could see the potential of the team.
"They are a good bunch of guys and I was keen to come back again. If we can stay relatively injury free I'm sure we can have a good crack at it next year."
- Worcester have confirmed the signing of former Wales international scrum-half Andy Williams, 29, as they look for an immediate route back into the Guinness Premiership from the Championship.
