South Africa will look to extend their dominance over Australia on the Highveld when the two sides go head-to-head in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

The Wallabies have not tasted victory at altitude since a narrow 11-9 victory in Johannesburg way back in 1963. That win-less run includes two previous meetings in at the Free State Stadium - a 19-8 loss in 1969 and a Joel Stransky-orchestrated 25-19 reverse in 1996. The two sides also met at Springbok Park in Bloemfontein in 1933 - with the Wallabies winning that game 15-4.

However, Australia have not beaten the Springboks on their own patch since a 27-15 victory in Durban two years ago.

The two sides have met a total 70 times on the international stage with the Springboks dominating the all-time statistics with 41 victories to the Wallabies' 28. South Africa won their first meeting 17-3 in Cape Town and were also victorious in their most recent meeting with a 44-31 win in Pretoria last weekend.
