All Blacks star Sonny Bill Williams' fight with Richard Tutaki is in doubt after it emerged his opponent is currently in jail.

Williams is scheduled to fight Tutaki for the New Zealand heavyweight crown on February 8, just a couple of weeks prior to the start of the 2012 Super Rugby competition. But the New Zealand Herald has reported that Tutaki is currently in jail after being arrested and denied bail after failing to turn up in court on drugs charges.

But when Williams agreed to fight Tutaki, he was one of five possible opponents. The New Zealand Professional Boxing Association president Lance Revill has confirmed that a new opponent will be sought. Revill said: "Khoder Nasser has got the money and he is putting all the money up for the fight".

Williams has had four professional fights and has taken all of them, but this will be his toughest bout to date.
