Wallabies to make Grand Slam tour

Australia will make their first Grand Slam rugby tour of Europe since 2009, after the addition of a Test against Wales as a revenue-raising exercise.

The Wallabies have played the four home nations on tour only three times since Alan Jones' team led by Mark Ella completed the Grand Slam in 1984. The the 2013 tourists will also play Italy.

Australian Rugby Union chief executive Bill Pulver confirmed the Wales Test on Thursday at a sports and business networking event in Sydney.

Spring Tour

November 2: Cook Cup, v England at Twickenham

November 9 : v Italy in Rome

November 16: Lansdowne Cup, v Ireland at Lansdowne Road

November 23: Hopetoun Cup, v Scotland at Murrayfield

November 30: James Bevan Trophy, v Wales at Millennium Stadium
