The Wallabies have unveiled a new-look jersey for the Rugby World Cup to mixed reviews, with comparisons drawn to Australia's one-day cricket strip as well as the Socceroos shirt.

Wallabies Israel Folau, Stephen Moore, Kurtley Beale and Will Skelton were on hand to launch the new Asics outfit on Wednesday, with features the Coat of Arms and tournament logo on its chest; forcing the traditional Wallaby moniker to the sleeve alongside the Southern Cross.

The design was leaked online in the lead-up to the launch with fans split as to where it rates in terms of previous tournaments. It certainly appears to be a brighter shade of gold; but Wallabies utility Kurtley Beale was quick to give it the thumbs-up.
