David Pocock has been rewarded for his stellar return season with three awards at the Brumbies Awards night, including Brumbies' Players' Player award. After spending almost two seasons on the sidelines due to a knee injury, Pocock made a huge return for the Brumbies during the Super Rugby season and was named the Brett Robinson's Players' Player, along with Best Forward and fan's choice, the Stallion of the Year.

In a huge year, Pocock joined winger Joe Tomane on top of the clubs leading try-scoring list, racking up eight tries throughout the season; more tries than any forward in the competition, and included two hat-tricks.

He was also huge in defence, making more than 96% of the tackles he attempted, and was constant threat at the breakdown.

Brumbies head coach Stephen Larkham said the awards were a representation of the value Pocock has within the team.

"Poey has faced a lot of adversity of the past two years with his injuries, and to come back the way he did shows the caliber of player he really is," Larkham said. "We saw this season how valuable he is to this team both in attack and defense.

"Not only is Poey a great individual player but his work ethic and the way in which he supports other players shows why he is considered one of the best players in the world right now."

The Brumbies also named their Brumbies 20 year 'Dream Team'. Celebrating 20 years of Brumbies rugby, the Brumbies named a Dream Team made up of the fans favourite former and current players.

Among the players selected, club match record holder George Smith, Championship winning captain George Gregan, current head coach Stephen Markham and current Wallabies and Brumbies captain Stephen Moore.

Brumbie favourites Matt GIteau, Joe Roff and Andrew Walker were all named alongside forwards Bill Young, who made 100 appearances for the Brumbies and Ben Alexander.

The club's inaugural Super 12 coach, Rod Macqueen, was voted in as head coach of the DreamTeam.

Bill Young, Stephen Moore, Ben Alexander, David Giffin, Justin Harrison, Owen Finegan, George Smith, Ben Mowen, George Gregan, Stephen Larkham, Joe Roff, Matt Giteau, Stirling Mortlock, Clyde Rathbone, Andrew Walker - Coach Rod Macqueen.
