Not even 120 minutes of rugby at Canberra's Bruce Stadium on Saturday night could be enough to decide a Super 12 champion.

The ACT Brumbies and the Canterbury Crusaders will meet in the final and if the scores are still level after 80 minutes of regular time, then 20 minutes of extra time, 10 minutes each way, will be played.

However, if the scores are still level after that time, the sides will be declared joint winners.

Meanwhile, South Africa's Andre Watson will control Saturday's Super 12 final between the ACT Brumbies and the Canterbury Crusaders in Canberra.

Watson refereed last year's final between the Crusaders and Highlanders in Dunedin and was in control for last year's World Cup final between Australian and France at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

Earlier this year, he sent Jonah Lomu off in the game between New South Wales and the Wellington Hurricanes at the Sydney Football Stadium.

Fellow South Africans, Johnathon Kaplan and Tappe Henning will be the touch judges.
