Wallabies make changes to sevens squad

The Australian Sevens team left for Paris yesterday with four players winning late call-ups to the squad.

Experienced sevens specialist Brendan Williams makes a welcome return to the team following an ankle injury to Alan McDonald in club rugby last weekend, while Martin Schliebs replaces Matt Dowling (leg).

Australian Under 19 representatives Michael Tabrett and Elia Tuquiri take the places of Tim Donnelly and Peter Miller, who have both joined the NSW Waratahs squad for the upcoming National Ricoh Championship.

The tournament kicks off this Saturday with Australia drawn to play the French Barbarians, Scotland and Canada in its pool games.
