Queensland ends tour on a high

Queensland have completed an arduous eight-game tour of Argentina and Chile with a 59-24 victory against a South American Barbarians in Montevideo.

It was the Reds' sixth victory from the tour with losses to Buenos Aires (26-11) and Argentina A (43-13) the only disappointments.

The tour was the first major test for new coach Mark McBain, who replaced the long-serving John Connolly just prior to departing.
