The British and Irish Lions team to play the ACT Brumbies, Super 12 champions of 2001, in Canberra on Tuesday has been announced.

In spite of his controversial tour diary, published in Saturday's edition of the Daily Telegraph, former England skipper Matt Dawson is included in the starting line-up.The internal discipline mentioned after Donal Lenihan's meeting with the player over the weekend obviously did not include demotion to the bench.

Of Saturday's victorious test side Martin Corry and Iain Balshaw are again pressed into service, although Gordon Bulloch, Jason Leonard, Martin Johnson and Dafydd James will sit on the bench in Canberra.

The full squad is :

Iain Balshaw (Eng), Ben Cohen (Eng), Mark Taylor (Wal), Scott Gibbs (Wal),
Austin Healey (Eng), Ronan O'Gara (Irl), Matt Dawson (Eng), Martin Corry
