Drahm on his way to Bristol
July 2, 2001

Bristol Shoguns have snapped up Australia fly-half Shane Drahm on a two-year deal.

Drahm, 24, will join fellow Wallaby Jason Little at the west country club. He joins from the Queensland Reds where his appearances have been restricted by the presence of Wallaby Elton Flatley and Nathan Spooner.

Argentine international Felipe Contepomi has been the first choice fly-half at Bristol since joining them last October.

But the Puma, also 24 next month, can play in the centre, on the wing and at full-back.
