Crick joins Ulster

Ulster have announced the signging of New South Wales hooker Mark Crick whose registration comes just in time for Heineken Cup qualification.

Director of rugby Alan Solomons has been looking for cover since hooker Matt Sextons unavailability was revealed at the beginning of the month.

Crick, 26, has a significant amount of Super 12 expereince and has represented Australia at Under 19 and Under 21 and appeared for the Australian Barbarians in 1998 against Scotland.

Although available for all the Heineken Cup games he will only be available for the Celtic League if Ulster reach the knock out stages
