ARU unveil 2002 season
December 17, 2001
The Australian Rugby Union have unveiled the Wallabies' 2002 season. ARU Managing Director John O'Neill commented, "The Vodafone Wallabies will always be under the microscope as the reigning world champions. But they respond well to these challenges and next year have the chance to be the first team to win three successive Tri Nations crowns." "Australia also faces a strong challenge from France who have shown their quality with wins over the Wallabies and the Springboks in the past two months. And after this year's very successful revival of matches against the New Zealand Maori, we welcome the Maori to Perth to open the season." 2002 BUNDABERG RUM RUGBY SERIES
