Wilson pitches in at Easts
February 5, 2002

Former Wallaby great David Wilson this week went back to where it all began his old club Easts, to tutor and mentor.

Widely acknowledged among the world`s best openside flankers who won 79 Test caps for Wallabies, including nine as captain, he returned to provide some valuable insight for the Tigers` current batch of backrowers.

Retiring from Test rugby 18 months ago, the former Queensland Red has spent the past two seasons with English Premiership club, Harlequins.

Easts are now back into full-swing training, with coach Tom Barker and rugby manager Dave Eagle calling on other former high profile Tigers over the coming weeks to provide some specialist advice.
