Roff ruled out for a month

Wallabies and Biarritz winger Joe Roff has been ruled out of action for a month because of tendinitis, the French club's backs coach Patrice Lagisquet said on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old has been troubled by Achilles trouble this season which has forced him to miss several games for the Atlantic coast club. Now he has suffered a recurrence of the problem.

Roff, who joined Biarritz in September and has helped them to the top of Pool One in the French Championship, has been at the centre of reports in recent weeks suggesting that he could be poised to return home to play next season. - Sapa
