Double blow for Brumbies
April 3, 2002

The Brumbies continue to suffer from their loss to the Crusaders on Sunday with the news that key forwards Jeremy Paul and Owen Finegan will be out of action for up to three weeks.

The Brumbies have a bye this round, but team officials concede that the Wallaby pair will likely miss the round eight clash with Wellington and possibly the round nine encounter against New South Wales.

Hooker Paul was taken from the field on a stretcher at halftime at the weekend with an ankle injury, while Finegan has an injured knee. "Jeremy would be desperate to make it back for the Crusaders game, but we'll just have to see," a spokesman said.

The Brumbies currently sit on top the Super 12 table with 26 points.
