Roff back with Brumbies
June 14, 2002

The ACT Brumbies have received a big boost with news that Joe Roff will be playing with the Super 12 runners-up next year.

The 26-year-old, who spent this season playing with French side Biarritz, has agreed to terms with the Brumbies and an announcement is expected to be made next week that the Wallaby utility back has re-signed.

His return home is also a real bonus for Wallaby coach Eddie Jones as he prepares for next year's World Cup in Australia.

Roff scored 17 points in his farewell appearance for Biarritz in their 25-22 win over Agen in the final of the French Championship last weekend.

Roff's comeback coincides with the likely departure of Brumbies winger Graeme Bond, 28, to English club Sale.
