All Blacks still head list as Eagles fall continues
September 3, 2002

With the Northern Hemisphere nations not in action New Zealand have continued to top the Zurich World Rankings for a tenth month.

There is no change amongst the top countries, although South Africa, in fourth, have built a bigger lead over fifth placed France.

The most significant change sees the USA continue to fall after their disappointing World Cup qualifying campaign. The Eagles are now in eighteenth - their lowest position since the rankings were introduced in 1998.

Chile and Uruguay - both still in with a shout of making the World Cup Finals continue to improve with the Uruguayans closing in on nineteenth placed Namibia.
