Cannon released from hospital
April 8, 2007

Western Force hooker Brendan Cannon was released from hospital this morning after being stretchered from the field during their defeat to the Crusaders yesterday.

Cannon was taken to Christchurch Public Hospital after being forced from the field following a scrum collapse in the 68th minute of the crushing 53-0 defeat against the Crusaders.

Brendan suffered numbness and weakness in his left arm but tests have confirmed no new injury. He is expected to return to Perth this week and discuss further treatment with his specialist.
