New Zealand's Maori All Blacks will play Japan and the Asia Pacific Dragons on a three-match tour in November.

The Maori All Blacks will play Japan twice - at Noevir Stadium in Kobe on November 1, and at Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Ground in Tokyo on November 8 - before travelling to Singapore to face the Tana Umaga-coached Dragons, an invitational side drawn from top Asian and Polynesian players. They will face the Dragons at the new National Stadium in Singapore on November 15

"We are very pleased to go to a country where the profile of rugby is growing and where Rugby World Cup 2019 will be held," New Zealand Maori Rugby Board chairman Wayne Peters said. "Japanese love to see our men in black jerseys so we hope this tour will be a great drawcard for fans there."

Maori All Blacks coach Colin Cooper is pleased with the matches, saying the tour "provides an excellent opportunity for players to press for higher honours".
