Former South Africa coaches Nick Mallett and Alan Solomons will look to claim the Springboks' scalp when they rekindle their relationship with the Barbarians later this year.

The highly-experienced duo steered the Baa Baas to an historic 25-18 victory over New Zealand last year - their first success against the All Blacks since the famous match of 1973 - and they will take charge of the world-famous select side once again for their clash with South Africa at Twickenham on December 4.

Springbok flyer Bryan Habana was in scintillating form seven months ago, claiming a hat-trick of tries for the Barbarians. But this time round he will be representing the World Champions, who will no doubt want to avenge their 22-5 defeat by the Barbarians at Twickenham in 2007.

"It's a wonderful experience not only as a player, but as a coach, to be involved with the World's greatest club - The Barbarians," commented Mallett. "We look forward to assembling an outstanding squad full of international stars for what promises to be yet another mouth-watering MasterCard Trophy match."
