Cardiff Blues centre Casey Laulala will join Munster at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Irish Province and will leave the Welsh Region in the summer, after two and a half years with the Blues.

Laulala, who represented New Zealand twice between 2004 and 2006, made his Cardiff debut against Connacht in December 2009 having joined from the Crusaders in New Zealand.

The former All Black said: "Munster are a very successful team so I'm looking forward to joining them and experiencing life in Ireland. However, there is still a lot of rugby to be played this season so I am still fully focused on doing well for the Blues.

"I've enjoyed myself very, very much here at the Blues and was fortunate enough to win the Amlin Challenge Cup with the Blues in my first season here. The support that we had that day wasimmense and it wasdefinitely one of my highlights, not only playing in the UK, but over my whole career."

"We were big underdogs as it was like a home game for Toulon, so it was a great day."
