The Barbarians have drafted in All Blacks Adam Thomson, Francis Saili and Frank Halai to the squad facing Australia at Twickenham next month.

Thomson - who will play for Reds in Super Rugby next year - is joined by Blues centre Saili and wing Halai in the squad for the match versus the Wallabies and against Leicester Tigers at Welford Road on November 4. Sir John Kirwan has also called up Chiefs' Tim Nanai-Williams and Highlanders' wing Patrick Osborne as well as the their scrum-half Fumiaki Tanaka.

Alongside those six, Kirwan has bolstered their resources in the hookers with Mo Schwalger and James Parsons drafted in.

"Big Frank Halai is a real excitement machine and it's the same with Francis Saili - the wings are bigger than the locks," Kirwan said. "We've also got Nick Cummins operating in a roving role out wide. The Badge can do what he wants!"
