Fiji winger Napolioni Nalaga could miss the Rugby World Cup through injury, according to head coach John McKee.

Nalaga has been out of action since picking up an undisclosed injury during the Pacific Nations Cup, where Fiji claimed their third title. However, McKee is doubtful over the former Clermont star's chances of making his final 31-man squad.

"I think I will wait for the full medical diagnosis," McKee said. "I think at this stage, it will keep him out of contention for the 31 but it doesn't discount him being a standby player to come in if we have an injury."

Fiji face hosts England at Twickenham in the opening match of the 2015 Rugby World Cup on September 18, before going on to face fellow Pool A opponents Australia, Wales and Uruguay.
