Reds prop Rodney Blake cited for dangerous tackle

Reds prop Rodney Blake has been cited for a dangerous tackle in Friday night's Investec Super 14 match against the Blues at Suncorp Stadium.

He will face a SANZAR Judicial Hearing next Tuesday evening at Queensland Rugby headquarters at Ballymore.

Citing Commissioner Tim Harland cited Blake late last night under Law 10.4 (e) after viewing the match video.

Blake, who had come on as a second half replacement, allegedly made a dangerous tackle on Blues' open side flanker Daniel Braid in the 59th minute of the match.

SANZAR Judicial Officer Paul Tully agreed to a Reds' team management request for an adjournment of the hearing until Tuesday evening at 6:00pm.
