Former France centre Yannick Jauzion confirmed his retirement on Wednesday at the age of 34.
Jauzion, who won 73 caps for France, the last in 2011, and was part of three Six Nations-winning sides. In 2007 he was nominated for the World Player of the Year award. At club level he won three European Cups and three French titles in his 11 seasons at Toulouse.
"It's been harder and harder," he told the Toulouse webiste. "I can play well for a period but it gets hard to keep that up throughout the season. [The club] also wanted to close the chapter and leave the place to a new generation. I also want to spend time with my family. I've given enough."
