Argentina winger Horacio Agulla has agreed a contract extension with Premiership side Bath.

Agulla, currently preparing for the Pumas' Rugby Championship campaign, joined the West Country side from Premiership rivals Leicester last summer and quickly became a key part of the club's armoury - crossing for six league tries.

Commenting on his new deal, Agulla said: "I am extremely happy to have extended my Bath contract. I love playing for Bath and I think the environment is perfect for a player who wants to get better. I look forward to getting back there and joining a really exciting squad."

Director of rugby Gary Gold said: "Ringo is a top class player and a great bloke to have in our squad. He helps the youngsters, he adds to the culture of the place and, most importantly, he delivers time and again on the field. We are very happy to have extended his deal."
