If you were watching the ITM Cup clash between Waikato and Northland on Saturday, you may have applauded the moment Tom Murday leapt through a crowd of Waikato players to pluck a re-start in mid-air.

But that is not the Queensland-born lock's most impressive achievement, in our eyes. The commentary team passing judgement on the Ranfurly Shield clash mentioned that Murday had once consumed a one kilogramme steak in just three minutes and 45 seconds in a Brisbane pub. It is still the record to this day in that establishment and an unbelievable feat. We applaud you Tom Murday.
