Brumbies edge out Fiji
June 22, 2003

A late penalty goal has helped the ACT Brumbies pip Fiji 26-25 at Canberra Stadium.

After leading 15-8 at half-time, the Brumbies looked to have secured victory when they crossed for a try early in the second half.

However, the tourists battled back and held a 25-23 lead with just two minutes remaining.

But it was the home side that would have the last laugh, with Ben Martin snatching victory with a penalty goal.
