Hitting the angles with the box-kick

This is the defending side's blind-side area bounded by the touchline and goalline and whose corners are marked by their scrum-half, fly-half, full-back and blind-side wing.

The box kick is a tactic used by an attacking side that aims to land a lofted punt or chip into this area, usually from a set-piece for their blind-side wing to chase.
