Bismarck du Plessis, who was sent-off by Romain Poite during their Rugby Championship match against the All Blacks at Eden Park, Auckland on September 14, was the 69th player dismissed in a cap-match played by one of the eight senior nations (ie the Five Nations and Tri-Nations.)
Du Plessis's red card - the result of being shown two yellows - was subsequently rescinded.
